Katieng Waterfall
Experience a walk through the Ratanakiri forest with asian elephants and their mahout. Note, this tour doesn't include riding on the elephants. You will talk together with the elephants through the bush. The trek goes for around 3 hours through forest, over hills and small creeks and farms. While walking your guide will teach you about the elephants behaviour, how they live, what they eat and of course the guide and the mahout will answer all of your questions. The highlight of the tour is a stop at a small waterfall where you may help to wash the elephants and play with them in the water. Also, you will get to enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild.
After the trek the guide will take you to the Katieng waterfall to relax, taking pictures and to swim if you like. You will return to your hotel at about 2:30 PM.
The tour price includes
Transportation, picnic lunch, drinking water, English guide, local mahout (elephant keeper), elephant trek, all fees
